ASU Network Communications plans a 12 hour outage of the Tempe Campus, Memorial Union, Ethernet and Wireless network on Monday, 5/19/2008 between 7:00pm and Tuesday, 5/20/2008 7:00am . ASU expects the actual outage to be of shorter duration but reserves the entire outage period for testing.

During this planned outage, ASU will upgrading the networkâ?Ts physical structure in one of our communication closets.

CedarCrestone Managed Services, ASU's PeopleSoft hosting partner, is performing their regularly scheduled third weekend maintenance.

All production OASIS environments will be unavailable to all users from:
3:00pm Saturday until 4:00am AZ time Sunday

USER IMPACT
During the scheduled maintenance periods:
--The Student Center will be unavailable. Students will not be able to view their class schedules, make payments, register for classes, view or print transcripts, etc.
--The Faculty Center will be unavailable. Instructors cannot access their class rosters.
--Administrative functions for admissions, student records, student financials, talent acquisition manager, and HR will be unavailable.
--Scheduled jobs will not run.
--Job postings will not be visible.
--Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service will be unavailable.
-- CRM Support for creating and reporting cases will be unavailable.
--CRM Sales, Marketing, and Online Marketing will be unavailable to both business users and outside customers accessing web dialogs.
