Scheduled Change: An enhancement to the My ASU Student pages will be migrated at 7 am. This update will include a new icon in the My Classes box that indicates an instructor has submitted an academic status report for the student. When clicked, the status report information will display to the student in a pop-up. There is no outage associated with this migration. CRM case # 459908

2039 khssb Database - Upgrade Sybase Develop2 SQL Server

Scheduled Change: The Develop2 Sybase SQL server will be upgraded from Version 12.5.3 to Version 15.0.3 beginning at 5pm. Also scheduled to occur is the movement of the develop2 Sybase instance from a SUN Solaris server to Dell server running Linux. The expected completion time for this work activity is Monday, Sept. 28th at 8am. In the event there are uncorrectable issues as a result of this upgrade the original system on the SUN host will remain intact and made available until the upgrade can be rescheduled. This change is non-disruptive to production applications.

Scheduled Change: The SharePoint SSL certificate will be updated (it is set to expire at the end of September). No user impact is expected. The SharePoint currently gets users email address from asurite AD records. This leaves out users who don’t have exchange mailboxes. The SharePoint will be changed to use the directory address.

Scheduled Change: The UTOLabs Drupal site will be moved from WEBHOST80 in the SOD environment to the UTO data center environment between 9:00PM and 11:00PM. The move is necessary to facilitate pending Dashboard development against UTOLabs.

Scheduled Change: The Blackboard 9 hosted pilot system will be undergoing an application upgrade beginning at 9pm Friday until ~9am Saturday morning. This upgrade is necessary to fix a known issue with the Bb 9 system that will improve system stability and will also address the inability to manually order discussion board forums. This scheduled maintenance will have no effect on the Blackboard 8 system. An system announcement will be posted on Bb 9 system and system health page.

During this planned maintenance, the Metro Ethernet network will be reconfigured. The activity is expected to cause intermittent disruptions to network connectivity with Ethernet, wireless Ethernet and IP voice service at these locations. The actual maintenance will be of shorter duration, but the entire maintenance window is reserved for testing.

2013 sknuteso Data Center - ADOA's (Advantage system host) mainframe upgrade

Scheduled Change: The Arizona Department of Administration’s mainframe, that hosts the ASU Advantage system, will be upgraded from version 1.4 to 1.7. This upgrade is necessary to bring the system up to a level that is fully supported by IBM. This upgrade simply requires a reboot of the server to take effect. The reboot is expected take 1 hour and will be followed up with 2 hours of testing. During this 3 hour outage, the Advantage online system will be unavailable. This upgrade will not start until the Financial Data Warehouse loads have completed.
